Surfaces has invested in the latest technology available in digital templating, ensuring the best possible results in a strategic effort to get the best fit possible for your surfacing project.
State-of-the-Art Fabrication
Surface’ state-of-the-art fabrication shop utilizes the most advanced digital technology. We start with Slab Smith green screen technology where the consumer can view our digital laser templates overlaid on a photo of their selected slabs prior to fabrication to help visualize their finished product. We then cut the slab using the most advanced combination of saw and waterjet cutting. Once the slab is cut to the exact dimensions of our template, the edges and cut outs are machined and polished on our CNC router.
No top is complete until it is hand finished and inspected by our skilled craftsmen. It is only now that your new countertop is ready for installation.
Expert Installation
Our personal touch carries through to final installation. Our uniformed installation technicians are trained to make sure every step of the project runs smoothly.
Your project starts with us placing drip pans to protect your driveway from potential oil drips. Next we utilize door jamb protectors and floor protection, because what is important to you is important to us.
We use specialized equipment and expertise to provide the best seams possible that the industry can offer.
Upon completion of your install, we walk you through a final inspection to ensure we have met or exceeded industry standards.

A Solid Commitment to Sustainability
Surfaces has a long track record of environmental sustainability to ensure the well-being of our employees and our planet.
Specific measure include installing a 1000-unit solar array on our rooftops, which will shortly supply 100% of our power.
We also use a closed-loop water system to ensure potentially our staff are never exposed to harmful particles, like silica dust, from our fabrication process.
We use 100% LED lighting throughout our facility. This lighting is tuned to mimic natural daylight for a pleasant working environment, with an extremely low power consumption.
We also pay attention to smaller details, including reducing plastic waste. And instead of bottled water, we’ve installed filtered water systems.
